Got my car dyno tuned
I decided to get my 2016 GT Premium dyno tuned today. Originally went in for a baseline run, but after talking to the tuner decided to just pull the trigger on the full tune before doing any real mods. Already have resonator delete and Ford Performance Sport axle backs by Borla. Car put down 362 rwhp on the baseline and 380 rwhp after the tune on 91 octane with an SCT X4. Now before everyone gets all upset about the numbers I was not expecting anything over 400. I plan on putting on a CAI which should push it up over 400. The car runs so much better and you can really feel that it has a better throttle response and more power.

Car was tuned at Dyno-Comp in Scottsdale. Richard Garcia is owner and tuner for the company. Yeah if it doesn't make the 400 mark no big deal. After talking with Richard he is pretty confident with the CAI (Airaid) and some fine tuning he can get me close to or even a little above that number. For now all I can say is the car runs great. You can really feel the difference.

Yeah we talked about that, but the money spent on putting long tubes and a full exhaust really didn't seem like a good return on my money for the HP. It is over $3000 for the full set up, install and re-tune. They are doing this exact setup on a 2016 GT they already have at the shop so I am waiting to see what the gains are before I do anything.

You can find a great deal on stainless power headers, even cheaper without cats. There are some headers which cost slightly less as well. You can find someone local to you to install them for cheap if you can't do it. Just join the 2015+ mustang group and anything 2011+ coyote related group and ask for someone who knows how to do it. You can get the headers + install for about 1000. Gains will be way more noticeable compared to intake. Don't do a catback as there as no gains for that except making the car loud.
