I think the engine looks sweet, don't care much for the badge. I think a GT badge with the 5.0 incorporated in a smaller font would be better.

Not bad, but too much plastic cover for me.
I also don't see myself paying over $30K. I paid 30 for this one and that's my limit for a GT. Even then I think that's way too high. Man, they used to be so much less.
I also wish everyone (as in car makers) would stop using liters for displacement. CUBIC INCHES DAMN IT!!! It's a bigger number and everyone likes bigger numbers.

Not according to fordvehicles.com. I went and built mine again, its the same, right down to the dollar.
I got my GT premium with 3.73 and security package for $29,600. (after haggling and rebate) There aint NO WAY you'll be able to get a 2011 GT premium, with the new engine, and 6 speed for that. Horsepower and an extra gear isn't going to be just thrown in for free.
To the original topic, I dig the 5.0 badge. I wonder it there will be any other clues on the exterior distinguishing them from 2010s?

The side view mirrors (the actually glass) will be different. it has a blind spot view... I think it is all subtle...
Also this engine cost will be very expensive first. It's all about operation management and economics, aka the learning curve. The engine/transmission will be cheaper to make as you progress down the learning curve, but this engine at first I think will go at a premium. Plus as much money as ford has spent on this engine/transmission we still have no idea about reliability until these cars get out on the road. Plus this could be a very popular year for the mustang, just like the Camaro's this year, I doubt dealers will knock much if anything off of these cars till 2012.
