Where did you find this info on Canadian Mustangs' gearing. I haven't seen this anywhere. I assume we get the same 3.31 as the US on the 2011s.

Best guess would be about 2-3 mpg loss on the highway depending on cruise speed. About the same to 1 mpg better in town.

I doubt you'll see that much loss if any at all going to 3.73. I get 25.5 mpg doing anywhere between 70 and 80 where my RPMs (with my 3.31) at 80 is close to 2400ish and 70 is a hair above 2K. Modern EFI systems do a pretty good job at keeping MPG up even with elevated RPM. In the old days with carbs it was a different story.

Well I am Keeping my gears to the 373 I also am changing my rims size to 20 inch 285/35 20 on the rear or 275 havent made my mind up yet should give me a little drop in the steepness of the gears. plus i had the 355 in my 5.0 1990 lx mustang and wished i had the 373 after i did all the mods.
