SirDrum, I picked up the Black GT Premium 5.0, 3.55, and Brembo's that you saw at

new Stangs' are a beast.

Looking forward to the wealth of knowledge on this forum.

Congrats! Keep us updated on how she runs,

I was thinking that they may not be in that high of demand if they are sitting on the lot but if you drove from mississippi to get it that must me Earnest Mcarty was lucky enough to get them early. I wasnt expecting that since they are prob the smallest Ford dealer in Birmingham.

If you dont mind me asking, how much did you end up paying?

There were plenty of V6's and GT's w/auto here, just none with the manual gearbox and Brembo's. Town and Country has a Kona and Grabber Blue with manual 6 w/o Brembo's.
I really dig the wheels that come with the brake package.

MSRP was 36,180.00. Without the x-plan, I ended up giving 34,500.00. I probably could have gotten them on down a little more, but by the end of the day, my son and I were feeling the stress of the trip plus the all day negotiations. Plus,I was ready to drive that bad boy home.

Pretty much what Gene says, about 2200 or so. I did manage about 25 MPG on the drive back home. The 3.55's seem to be a great compromise between acceleration and fuel economy.

None of those problems with the brakes so far. I can tell you this, They will stop on a dime.
