2011 Exhaust Modifications - What to do???

I just picked mine up from the muffler shop after the !muffler mod. No mufflers, some nice chrome rolled tips.

Will post pics tonight after the gym.

Yes, it's loud.

Awesome. Can't wait to hear it... Thanks for the post and I think I am going to go just the same way. 10-12" long rolled 3 1/2 inch tips with no muffler but I'm keeping the resonator...

To repeat what I just wrote in another thread . . .

The 2011 GTs have resonators just behind the H-pipe anyway. Further, the joint for an axle back replacement is positioned very "rearward" on the car (directly in front of the mufflers).

So, in anticipation of SAM I AM's setup, it would seem you would get a deep (and loud) rumble from simply doing a short axle-back muffler delete with some nice, large diameter exhaust tips. This would, in theory, emulate the Roush off-road exhaust.
