Does the Diablo tune raise the limiter to about 7400 rpms?

Seems like some very impressive gains. Just curious what was the final drive gear in this car tested? I assume test runs were all done in 5th gear as well.

From what I can see it looks like you gained about 20 - 22 HP peak. What I find most impressive about the chart is the amout of power gained between 4000 rpm and 6000 rpm.

On the Diablo chart, it looks like 20 HP at peak, with a high gain of about 50 HP around 4500 RPM and again at about 5500 RPM. That's considerably higher than what SCT just released.

But why raise the rev limiter past 7000? It looks like it's losing power at that point anyway . . .

Looks to me like at 7300 it is still making more power than the stock peak numbers but going beyond that seems like a waste. If it were me I would set the rev limiter at 7250 but that is me.

Regardless, the increase (if true) is impressive. However, according to a post on Diablo's forum, they are only releasing the tune on the more expensive Trinity tuner at first. The more affordable InTune (Predator replacement) won't be out until later.

In the meantime, many will be using the more affordable SCT tuner, I'm sure . . .

22 rwhp peak, 48 rwtq peak, and a 47 rwhp gain at 5300 rpm....

This tune turns the car in to a whole new monster.

I am sure it is still early to say for sure but how would this tune work with some other bolton mods? For example CAI and Headers.

Would you have to tweak the tune or offer a custom tune for bolton modded cars?

Depending on the mods, you would definitiely need the tune tweaked by a tuner . . . CAIs and headers for sure.
