If you have a clutch with the dual rebound springs. (Looks like a hybrid of the GT500 and GT 5.0 Setup pictured above) just remove the large spring by sliding the lower mount off the pin. You may have to work the pedal back and forth while prying on it as its under pressure. Ive already done this on my car and it does fix the problem. It does increase pedal effort from around 20 to 30-35 lb.

Below is a picture of the clutch side of the Hybrid Dual Rebound Spring on 4/26+ cars I believe.

Red face Is Ford going to fix this?

Does anyone have any info on whether Ford is looking into this, ignoring it or trying to cover their @sses? I hope they fix it instead of going the cheap route and lowering the redline to 6,500 and claiming anyone operating the engine above this rpm is improperly operating or abusing their engines.
Ford, do the right thing, fix the issue, avoid scandal and earn more respect.

Gene- Thanks for the info. As of Friday, there were no TSB's for the '11's yet, I keep checking every few days. Mine shifts fine firing off quick shifts from first through fourth, I hope it stays that way.

Cardm31 if you look at the pic I posted of the dual rebound spring pedal assembly from my car I think that is the 1st attempt at a fix. I think I just got unlucky on tolerance stack up. However when you bump the limiter higher it might be an issue for others. That is why I posted on removing the spring. Ford has a 3rd pedal assembly coming online that will go on Job 2 which starts August 16.

They want to remove my entire clutch system (from pedal to flywheel) and replace it on my car including the new Job 2 Pedal Assembly. They want my complete system for testing. Im trying to decide if Im going to let them since the problem is solved.

I too have not seen anything on the TSB concerning this. I will ask the service shop if they have heard anything yet from Ford.

UPDATE: Clutch will stick at 6850 rpm on 2-3 shift. At anything under that it will return. Seems like I will at least need the 2nd design pressure plate as well.

I had this happen to me for the first time last week. It was spirited but not WOT at all - maybe 5-6K rpm at most while passing. That is rare because I usually drive very conservatively and rarely shift over 4K rpm.

The clutch seemed to get stuck half way up and I had to push it down again.

Not Good...

Is there a TSB yet?
