Default MT82 tranny info

I am seeking extensive info on the MT82 6speed.

Particular specs I am trying to find (but don't have any luck yet) are:
Gear ratios
Designed torque threshold (I could care less about HP threshold)
Torque thresholds for the individual gears
Upgrades for this tranny
etc...

Jim I swear somewhere deeper in the posts there was a extensive discussion on this. I think Gene had some solid numbers on it. I might be mistaken, but check a few pages back.

Its actually rated at only 385. However the tuners are running in the 10's with the modified cars and so far nothing has broke despite the wheels up launches and constant powershifts. I believe Getrag was pretty conservative on the rating.

The 5.0 and 3.7 have different gear ratios. Im not sure about the input shaft.

MT82 (5.0)
Input Shaft - 26 Spline
1st - 3.66
2nd - 2.43
3rd - 1.69
4th - 1.32
5th - 1.00
6th - 0.65
