Default No More Skip Shift!

Three different Tuners have confirmed that updated software has allowed for the deletion of the 1-4 skip shift in the manual.

Oops! Need to get my eyes checked. Missed BoostAddict's topic.

thats good news Gene,

I've only seen it once in 3800 miles and I had to really try to make it show.

Brenspeed, Evolution, Lethal and Steeda have all stated they can do it now. As I understand it its actually from a recent update to the SCT Advantage III Software.

PS As of 8/24 SCT has Datalogging available as well.

Well, Evolution pointed out that their tunes have had it disabled since May 2010, so perhaps the update was some time ago, and no one noticed? :P

Nope. This is brand new and only released when I posted about it the other day. Up until then no tuner had the ability to turn off the skip shift feature on the 11' GT.

I've got about 850 miles on my 11' GT so far and haven't run into this yet. Must have to really baby it.

Yeah, have to agree. Buy the tune for other reasons. Not to just avoid the skip-shift. It's basically a non-issue for most of us.

Cheers.
