I too agree that the Brembo package is worth it, my ride is strickly a 'pleasure car' so it will never see snow while I own it. the wheels which , IMO, are superb offer another advantage.........they don't show the brake dust near as much !

I'm not too happy because I'm getting an automatic but would love to get the Brembo package.

The Brembo upgrade is well worth the money. I put the GT 500 brakes and tires on my 2008 Shelby GT and it cost more than the $1,695 on my 5.0.

Exclamation Too bad they used such an odd tire size!

That Brembo package is a lot of performance for the money but, those tires won't last very long and a replacement set is almost as much as the cost of the package in the first place with few other tire options.
I wonder why they didn't think to use a wheel/tire size with lots of options?

If I were you, and you're only interested in braking and not the other niceties that come with the Brembo Package, save the cash and go elsewhere aftermarket. You're basically paying 2g's, which can get you the Steeda 4 Piston Setup and some Baer 6 Piston Setups. There's also a Wilwood setup with 14" vented and slotted, 6 piston, for like 1900. If you're not into aftermarket modifications and want it done from the factory, then by all means go for it. But if you're planning on tracking the car, there are better options, for any budget.
