I put the tuner on my car and now when I get on it the engine shuts down. I have a cl cai, 3.55, 93 octane, and the spark at 0 degrees. What could be the problem?

hat tuner? Is it a custom tune, canned tune or did you just mess around with parameters?

I have the SCT x3. The tune was set up by the dealership. When I loaded the tune today and I when I accelerate the engine shuts down and I have the turn off the car and turn it back on and it does the same issue. I have reloaded the tune and set the global spark at 2 it was on 0. Apparantley that was the issue.

Tune fault....bring it back to the dealer.

Make sure the C&L is on properly... take it off.. then put it back on and check EVERYTHING.. including the MAF.

Car shut off again. It happens when I accelerate and it happens at like 4000 rpm. I took the car to Ford they couldn't duplicate the problem. So I took the car and today when I was driving it stalls again. I took the car back to Ford and told them to keep it until they can fix the problem. Has anyone heard of a problem with this. The air intake is on correctly, 93 octane is the only thing I put in the car, the global spark is set at 2 degrees. I have no idea what the problem is and they don't either.

Tune malfunction. Take it back and have them flash one that doesn't do that. Flash on the canned tune to see if that makes a difference

The cai is installed correctly, I re-installed the tune that is on the SCT tuner. I put 93 octane, 3.55, and CL cai. The car is still doing the same thing. I guess I just need to contact SCT about the issue.
