Default First BOSS in the 10's!! Lethal Performance Inc 10.64@124.24mph

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LN2NNN-SBjg

We've been making sure to stay busy with our new Boss. We've already had Vaughn Gittin jr drift it with less than 1000 miles on it. This time Jeremy Martorella of UPR Products got the chance to take it down the drag strip for the first time with just under 1400 miles on it.

Our second run of the evening yielded us a 10.64@124.24 with a 1.51 60ft. The car hooks great and Jeremy was very impressed with how fast it was. He was shifting the car at 7800-7900rpms. For our tire and wheel setup we're running a set of Bogart Bolted GT's along with some Hoosier front runners and Mickey Thompson 15" ET Drags.

As far as the rest of the mods go unfortunately we're not going to disclose that right now as you'll be able to read all about it in a up coming issue of 5.0 Mustang Magazine compliments of Steve Turner.

We'd like to thank everyone involved with the car as well as all of our friends and fans.

Jake & Crew at Power By the Hour Performance, Jeremy Martorella of UPR Products, Jon Lund, SCT, Steve Turner, 5.0 Mustang Magazine, Danielle Perez of D. Perez Photography, Van Collier, Satcher Motor Company, Palm Beach International Raceway

Wow....sounds awesome at those higher RPMs.

Burnout clip looked like the clutch was smoking too (I doubt it wasn't but looked like it), lol.

Was only one wheel spinning during the burnout?

Yep.....left rear stopped spinning almost immediately...odd. Also, guess the green light meant nothing since not racing another car. The car is fast for sure.

Is it possible the diff is already fried from Vaughn's drifting? One-wheeled burnout for sure.

When performance shops are out testing/tuning their cars, reaction time is probably the last concern they have.

I agree.....must need the lights to be running as part of the entire timing sequence. Just looks odd is all.

i didnt hear a blower or turbo there, i'd say nitrous 100 or 150 shot. sounded like a launch control in there too right before the launch, red key software isnt out so woudl be an add on unless my ears are tricking me. i only saw one tire spin as well, but i saw a vid of a guy with a purge through the exhaust that looked sort of like that smoke and assuming its on stock exhaust the smoke is where side pipes exit. that car doesn't have the torsen diff either fwiw.

I would surely say its running on the bottle, just notice how the video is edited at 28 sec. Probably to purge the system. Very impressive run!
