I'm glad they said that. You need to stay away from those shops. NONE of the good shops impose that rule.

it might be that the part comes with one of those super basic tuners and the shop wants him to buy an sct

his signature says he has an SCT tuner. I agree, avoid shops that wont e-mail you a tune for your tuner, they just need the code off the back of it to make one for your current SCT Tuner, and all the popular/best tuners will do that.

dont they also need that code off of the ecm box? i remember steeda asking me for it. how much do tunes cost? i remember having a tuner for my f250 and each custom tune was like $100.
