What exactly are you talking about?? And how is it caused by only the manual transmissions? Very vague statement but I have been experiencing this for the past few weeks in my 2012 since 2k miles. It feels as if someone just flipped the power switch back on, either the clutch isn't engaging all the way or something else is up. It feels like I suddenly hit the gas 2 seconds after I actually did hit it.

From everything I hear on here I'm considering myself fortunate to have zero problems with my drive train, to answer your question no I have not experienced what you are talking about.

its something within the factory calibration that some manual transmissions do, not all of the but most of them. i did tune a car fixing this problem and it makes a huge difference i will try to upload a video on youtube and post a link.

I think they are hitting the soft limiter at 6850. It will make the car fall on its face during shifts that go over 6800.

My car feels like the power is cutting in and out when I'm shifting gears WITH the traction control on. If I turn it off, then the power is smooth and strong. I understand that this is due to traction control pulling power, and this MAY be what they're feeling.

It almost feels as if my foot is "bouncing" up and down on the gas pedal.

I have not experienced this. My drivetrain hardware is stock.
But I definitely want to see a vid of this phenomenon. That way if such a thing were to happen to me, I would know what to look for and expect.
