Default need help...

can anyone tell me what is reason that my motor sounded like this? it's a new ford 4.6 crate motor... just installed last week in my '05 Mustang GTw/ less than 200km on the new motor w/ vortech supercharger. i'm located in taipei, taiwan. this thing is rare here, thus, very few people can help me w/ this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IVBBxxqMfCM

This is the wrong section for this to posted in, this is 5.0L GT tech pertaining to the 2011-12 GT's. Try asking in 4.6L tech.

go to 2005 - 2011 Mustangs > GT S197 General Discussion > 4.6L V8 Technical Discussion.

I cant give you my opinion on the sound because I am at work, and videos are blocked.

Yep, this is the wrong sub-forum. But from the sound of that, you have a dead something. Dead engine (hopefully not) or dead Vortec (much cheaper than getting a new engine, or hopefully something very benign like a bad pulley for one of your accessories.

That is motor related. sounds like something broken on heads.Your supercharger wouldnt make that noise & if it were the super charger you would see a decline in boost on your gauge.
