Bama tune + C&L CAI questions
First, I want to say that I am not new to modding a car, but I am new to doing CAI installations (never installed one myself, always bought a car with one installed already). I have no experience with ECU tuning either. I'm used to simple bolt-ons. Anyways, I want to buy a CAI and Bama tune, but I'm concerned about doing it incorrectly and having the car throw CEL's all day.
Is it really as easy as they make it sound on their website? Also, is there a way to flash the ECU back to stock for warranty purposes? The people at my local Ford dealership own Mustangs personally and all told me that they aren't worried about warranty as they can flash the tune that they have back to the stock ECU. If someone could point me to an installation video, that would be awesome too. The one on the AmericanMuscle.com site is for an older Mustang.

Yes it's very simple. If you have any mechanical ability or just can follow basic directions, you can put the intake on your self in 30 mins or less. And far as uploading the tune, it's very simple. Plug it into the car OBII port and follow the on screen directions, only takes couple mins.
Far as flashing it back to stock, yes you can do that very easy as the SCT tuner will save the stock tune when you upload a custom one.

FYI if you ever run into major engine damage this copperhead pcm records permanently how many times the pcm has been flashed. After a drive cycle the dealer as far as I know cannot tell but if Ford requests the pcm to be sent back to them they can tell.

It really is as easy as we say it is!
The intake should take you under an hour the first time and as Brian said, as long as you can follow instructions, you will be just fine!
Our tuning process couldn't be any easier! You order the tuner/intake you want, tell us your modifications and we send the tuner to your door, ready to go. From there, you just throw the intake in the car, download the stock tune, upload our tune and go!
Both products will come with easy to follow step-by-step instructions and if you are worried about it or have question regarding the install, our Parts Experts and Tuning Specialists are here M-F 9am-9pm EST(Tuners are here til 530pm) and sat 10am-4pm to help you in any way necessary.
I hope this helps!
Please feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions in the future!
Thanks for the kind words guys, have a great weekend!
