I second that! Roush all they way, though I've never heard it, i've read way too many positive things about the Roush Axle Back :0)

Roush. All the way. I have then too. Loud at start and when you punch it. Quiet on the highway. Nice subtle rumble when cursing around town. Cheap price, easy install.

I've heard the Roush axleback on a local 5.0 and I thought it sounded good but was a bit raspy for my tastes.

I just had a muffler shop cut out the mufflers and run straight pipe to my tips for 80$ until I find the exhaust I really want. Straight pipes aren't that bad unless you spend a large amount of time on the highway and drone is a concern. Mine are suprisingly tame when warmed up and easy shifting under 2k. I usually shift 1-3-5-6 when i'm commuting to keep things quiet. Cold starts are a different story. When I leave for work in the morning and start up in the garage, the dishes in my kitchen rattle.

Roni, I can't wait for you to actually see and drive your car. I want to hear what you think of the Roush. I do hope you like it.

How much longer before you get back to Germany?

Keep on huntin down the Taliban and making the world safer for all of us. Stay safe.

I'm going for an exhaust setup similar to this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rL9sgiQ5K_Q

this is one of the best sounding cars that I've been able to find on youtube, however he dosn't mention his mods or exhaust setup.

I got 4 months left. However, at the end of this month, I go on R&R, but I'm going to the States for my 2 week vacation. But after my vacation it will be roughly 2 1/2 months left and it will be summer time in Germany. So to all, be ready for some good pics and vids ;0)

If you make it to NC, you can come drive my car and hear the Roush in person. Remember the first drink is on me.

Well I did 5 years in Ft. Bragg, who knows that might be my next duty station since I'm also a Paratrooper and that's usually where they send Airborne Soldiers to (or Ft. Benning Georgia). Who knows, but I should come up on assignment by April and see where I will get stationed at because I want to join a car club (mustangs of course)..

I went with the Flowmaster Hushpower and love them! Really nice deep baritone sound to them...not raspy or obnoxiously loud at all. IMO, this is the way this Mustang should of sounded right from the factory.

Never heard those in person, but from some of the videos I've watched, they sound pretty good as well. In fact, those (flowmaster hushpower) were my first pick. And I totally agree, it would be awesome if that was the exhaust the stocked mustangs came with..
