I think it might be that the rest of the bumper and what not doesn't look as beefy as I am used to when seeing the bigger nose on the GT500...

I just bought a 2013 GT. Pick up tomorrow. I thought all mustang people would at minimum say at least something nice to a fellow mustanger.
I would expect this from a camero person. I sure hope I don't go to a cruise night with other mustanger's there and they walk up to me and say,
YOUR CAR IS GROSS.

I guess others feelings are not an agenda to some.
oh well, I like all mustangs. I have owned a 1968, 2011, and now 2013.
My son had a 1999. I liked them all.

I have a 2012 and I like the 2013 a lot.


In reality, it's not like much has changed too much. The front end Is basically a 2010-12 shelby with hids and the rear has tinted tails

He wasn't saying anything bad to anyone. The OP was asking what the opinions are on the 2013 and he gave a truthful answer, nothing wrong with that at all. I doubt anyone would walk up to you and say your car is gross (unless they happen to be jealous).

Anywho, I like the 2013. Not too crazy on the taillights but thats just me nitpicking. I know I am way in the minority on this but I just love the Gotta Have it Green they came out with (stripes are required for me though) and have seriously thought about just saving up and trading in for one.

You will get generally this response from 2010-12 owners that have the ugly tail lights (IMO). I personally think that Ford hit a home run with the 2013 refreshing. I especially like the rear end now, and I would purchase 2013-style tail lights for my 2008 GT in a heartbeat!

I saw a car chase on this week's Alcatraz TV show and I really like every angle (even the front) of the new Mustang. The front was the only part of the new Mustang I was undecided about - but I love it!

Yeah, I like it. Ford cleaned up a few areas needing attention, and did a good job. They knew the rear end was the real issue. But, the front even looks better too, even if it is the GT 500 look alike.

That's unfortunate since you have a 2012. The differences between the 12 and 13 are very minor so, if you really think the 2013 is gross you may want to rethink your purchase.
