The clutch is grabby in these cars. Let it out slowly the whole way up and you won't have this issue. I have the same problem when I've been in my DD for a long time since i can just let my foot off the clutch after it engages, but the stang is a lot different. If you dump that clutch at any time it will snap your ****ing neck lol.

Ive noticed that this transmission takes a little while to warm up.. about 5 minutes of driving. Before then, it's pretty inconsistent. It's also a little rough around the edges with around the town, taking it easy, driving. If I want smooth shifts while cruising around, I shift 1-3-5 and it feels like an auto. The transmission is at its best when driving the car like you stole it.. and negotiating traffic on the highway (5-4-5-6). All in all, it's not that bad. But I do get quite a bit of noise in second gear.. and that awesome "notch" shifting in second and 3rd.

The other day I downshifted into second to make a left turn. My wife was in the car and said "hope they are not after you". I didn't know what she was talking about since there were no police around.. I thought about it for a second, and realized she thought the loud whine my transmission made when I was in second was a police siren!

I had never heard that noise before.. so I hope its not a bad sign that I'm going to get that "supercharger" whine people are talking about ;(

PS. China wants all their Iphones, smartphones, computers, microscopes, telescopes, etc back. Someone needs to start a thread about all the terrible cars/parts/products past and present that wear the "Made in America" branding. Sometimes it seems like these forums need a reality check.
LOL, i sense sarcasm
