Talking All I can say is WOW......

I've had my new 5.0 for roughly 3 weeks now and waited till I clicked 500 miles on the odometer before I opened it up as hard as it could go. All I can say OH MY GOD!!!! I punched it while rolling in first gear, with the traction control on, and it still jumped sideways spinning all the way through 2nd and was on the rev limiter before I could even lift! I only thought my 06 GT was bad with all the work I had done to it but this car is way meaner stock than it was! All I can say is kudos to the guys at Ford for developing an incredibly powerplant in an already fun car.

I know what you mean. There was an excellent article in the 5.0 Mustang magazine that chronicled the developement of the coyote engine. In this day and age of budget restraints it was amazing what these Ford engineers were able to accomplish. Truth be told I've always had more respect and admiration for V8 engines that can make power without using forced induction.

Its been 9 days and 500 miles for me. I traded in my 2011 base V6 for a 2012 5.0 premium. The V6 was a great car performance-wise. But, the 5.0 is an animal. Plus, now I have all of the confort features. I smile everytime I start it.

Chirping tires up through 4th always makes coming home from work better, just need to get rid of these and i wouldn't have to use the yellow dotted line either.

Yep. The sun came out today and the weather warmed up to about 47 so I took the car out. I was turning on to a main road when a Celica with a fart tip got next to and I mashed hard from from 20-75, it took all of about 2 seconds to show that dude where he is in food chain.

Had a friend with one of those...turbo charged and it was quick. Then one day he left the car in the garage for a while, came back and started it up and sucked a mouse up into the turbo......

I have over 12,000 miles on mine.....15 months of driving.....it is still a thrill going sideways on command. It just never gets old.

I cant wait to get into one of these!!!Is their really that much spin? I dont want to keep going sideways after ever spirited right turn! I think sticky tires will need to be the first mod!!0.o
