I hadn't posted yet about mine but I've got a 2011 GT 6MT and it works great most of the time. Rough getting into 3rd sometimes but 1st used to be a bit gritty, but that has gotten much better after break in.

I wouldn't say it's a problem, but I would prefer 3rd to let me put it into gear a little smoother. Hopefully this will go away, I've had it since November 2011 and I still only have 1500 miles on it.

The first one failed due to PP bolts backing out.

The second had a supercharger whine @ 500 miles

The third one would fail to engage 6th gear when cold.

Although... if you ask other fanboys (I say other because I myself an a Ford fan... but I am not stupid) the issue is related to be not being able to shift.

I try to keep my cool talking to those jerks..

27,000 miles on 2011 GT purchased in July 2010. No problems. Shifts nicely with Redline MTL.

25k on my 2011 and never had a single problem. Have not been back to the dealership since the day I bought it! Got in July of 2010!

2011 with 14,000 miles. With basic bolts ons, its been to the straight track and road course and zero problems, and i have not had the tsb done, and the smooth shifting makes my friend who drives a bmw z4m jealous, however who here said they replaced motor and trans mounts? Did that eliminate the bouncing you can get from poor shifting in traffic?

27K miles here & I've had zero problems thus far. It is the best transmission & shifter they've ever put in a stock Mustang GT. The shifter even feels so good that, for the first time ever, I don't feel the need to change it. Way better than the old T-5's & T-45's of yesterday.

No problems with mine so far. I changed the fluid to Redline MTS and replaced the mickey mouse factory shifter with the MGW unit shortly after I bought the car. It shifts like a hot knife through butter.

I have had problems since 2000 miles. I am at 26k now. I wish I was one without problems.
