does anyone NOT have tranny problems 6MT

I'll have to disagree with the above statement about the 11's not being ready. When push comes to shove you'll find that the vast majority of 11 owners reporting no problems far outnumber the ones that did. Now I realize this is of little consolation to the owners that have experienced issues, however these issues are not unique to Ford. If you peruse other forums dedicated to the likes of Challengers and Camaros you will find the same issues plaguing a certain percentage of their owners as well.

First off the camaro’s have more than double the TSB’s the mustangs do, GM also invented the “customer satisfaction program” to fix future items without it counting against their government tracked TSB and recall count… look it up air bag fixed convertible top fixes, (don’t even get started on those lemons) so you got a tuner that screwed you and leaned it out too much or turned off or down your knock sensors (before you fly off into a rage on how you have a great tuner, look it up, call bama, call evolution, ask them what caused these issues and why they have pretty much vanished, it’s not a giant ford cover up) you should be happy ford let you strip off your aftermarket items and they fixed it under warranty!!! These engines run close to the ragged edge stock, you lean it out too much, desensitize a knock sensor and toss in some 91 gas on a 93 tune and push it… (not saying you put 91 in that’s what happed on another case) and bang.. as for the trans.. sometimes bad parts happen, nothing you can do about it, before you blame ford you do realize that ford had input into the transmission gearing but that it’s built by another company right? It’s kind of like blaming ford if your Pirelli tire developed a bulge in it? The transmission is developed by GETRAG.. I understand this is a fly by night mom and pop company… but it’s their transmission. You think ford went to them and said “we need this gearing, this size case, this weight, oh and built in china!!” I doubt that came up. As for your new parts with “low friction coating” I assume you have something on this other then the word of a service advisor?

I have blowfish support and whiteline insert. They have helped specially with straight line aggressive take offs but if you are in any kind of turn or side to side move, the 3rd gear still locks up on occasion.

2012 GT
My MT82 is great. I did put in MTL fluid and disconnected the skip shift. I do double down when shifting,,just a old school thing I do. The linkage feels fine but Im thinking of going with MGW just because of the reviews are so good.
