Default 2013 gt/cs auto,,,,3:15 gears to ????

I could spend lots of money trying to improve quickness by increasing hp but I think the best bang for the buck would be to just have dealer 3:gears.
Currently it is 3:15. What would be a good choice without to much mpg loss.
3:31,,,3:55,,,3:73????

Has anyone with an auto done this? Would you say, well worth the dollars?

Thanks

Yeah, 3.55! Gears are one of the best mods you can do, really wakes the car up.
As far as bang-for-the buck, a CAI and a good custom tune probably give the best for the money. Gears would be my next choice.
Get a reputable installer to do gears though, cause if they don't do it right, they can whine.
I'm going to do 3.55 myself as soon as I can get the money up. Well worth it to me, but that is up to the individual.

Agreed 3.55 for auto, my mechanic at a reputable Mustang shop also with a Dyno shop drives a 2013 auto, he uses 3.55 and with Boss man, spray and tune runs 10's. Seems sticks my be dead at the track soon.

Just seen a bolt-on N/A A6 with a circle D converter and 4.10 gears run a 10.78
If you are planning on adding supercharger I think 3.55s are perfect but if you plan to stay N/A, go big. 4.10s all the way.

There are also a few with 3.31's N/A in the 10's.

Nope, nothing wrong. Just remember there's a reason Ford put 3.15's in and it wasn't for gas mileage. The autos have a steep first gear. 4.17's which makes the final drive ratio more like a 3.55.

What are your goals or usage of the car?

I ran a 4.10 for awhile and gas usage was up to an uncomfortable level, you won't want this for a commuter. Remember 1/1000 of an inch tolerances if they (The Shop) tells you the gears are noise - Bull, they will be silent if installed right.
