Default Finally got a dyno run in.

First off, its hot as hell here in Atlanta, well over 100F for the whole weekend. Graph says it was 108-110 for my 3 pulls.

Second, the shop is not a mustang shop so they had no clue how to lock my 6R80 in 4th or 5th so all the runs are in 3rd gear.

Third, there's no AF because they used an external wideband stuck in my tailpipe that is not hooked up to the computer. It showed 12.0-12.3 the entire run for all 3 pulls.

Lastly, its obviously a Dynojet and the numbers are SAE. Not sure what that means.

Overall, I'm very happy. All my friends that were there were highly skeptical of the numbers. Little do to they know I would have made more if they could have done it in 4th gear.

My mods are JLT CAI, Lethal O/R-H and a Steeda 93 tune.

Congrats those are great number for the automatic!!!! Gives me a ton more confidence in my steeda tune I ordered!!

I should have basically the exact same numbers (Auto, JLT cai, O/R x, Steeda tune) once I install everything. And yes, your numbers would have been higher if they had dynoed it in 4th. You might have hit the 400rwhp mark

Looks good man, I'd agree if done 'properly' you'd be looking at around 400 rwhp. That is what I made on my 09 with a Vortech blower on it...

This makes me sofa king jealous. Like said before, those are (Albeit a small one) blower numbers for us 3V's, which when they came out made "So much power and were so responsive to mods."

Congrats.

Those are really good numbers with the mods that you did. You did great even if they didn't do a 4/5th gear run.

oh those silly guys.. they dont even know how to dyno an auto? hehe... when I dyno'd my auto 2007 GT before I did 2 different techniques, brought it to a mph that was high enough when I floored it I would be in 4th, so they captured around 3,000+ RPM, the other was i just floored it on the dyno while it ripped through the gears, and again, it captured from 3000+ in 4th.

I agree, in 4th you would have seen better numbers. The heat really shouldn't matter, SAE correction is supposed to correct for that.

They did try that. But I'm not sure that should have worked. 4th at 3000rpm is 58mph. When flooring it, my car will kick down and be at 3500rpm in 3rd for the same 58mph.

Conversely, flooring it while ripping through the gears will keep the car over 5k+ rpm in 4th gear. My RPM chart goes like this.

1st 7000 rpm 42mph
2nd 3900 rpm 42mph to 7000 rpm 75mph
3rd 4500 rpm 75mph to 7000 rpm 116mph
4th 5200 rpm 116mph to 7000 rpm 155mph
