You can with the exhaust, wont do any harm.. The intake should take all of 15 minutes to switch out..

Your right it only takes a few minutes, I'll probably end up having to do that. I just don't understand, I know my revs have changed because the instant they were different at speed, I knew there was an issue, however I don't know what could cause it if the tire size is correct.

I wouldn't even swap out the intake. Just put the stock tune in and drive it to get an idea of the RPMs and speed, then put the Bama tune back in it. Just DO NOT go WOT because it will probably run lean due to the increased airflow. Just ease round, no high rpm action.

No I do not have an auto. You don't think it would be to bad of an issue? I really don't want to mess anything up.

AED doesnt need a warranty on there tunes because they dont blow motors with them like bama. Brenspeed is a awesome place and there parts are priced good but there tunes are "safe tunes" just enough to make you feel some power and thats it. AED has you actually datalog your car send them the results they send you a tune then have you datalog it again. Then they send you two more tunes 1 for straight out race and the 2nd for everyday performance. all for one price, no one else does that. Aside from a dyno tune your not going to get more perfect then that. So have i tried them all? no but when you have a company that puts that much effort into it for you for around the same price. It doesnt really take a genius to figure it out.

I have to disagree, I had a tune from brenspeed on my 08 gt and I hated every minute of it, i lose so much low end torque it was outrageous. I've had two Bama tunes since then and love them both. And I'd venture to say the reason they offer the warranty is to give people who just bought brand new cars and people who worry about messing up there warranty, some peace of mind knowing than if they blow there motor, they should get some assistance with Bama.

You can't compare a remote custom tune to a canned tune you get for free when you buy a tunning device.. Not the same ballpark.. If you want to compare, compare it to a Lund remote tune and Lund will more than likely blow it out the water..

Hey,

I'm really glad our buddy Shaun was able to get you guys squared away. He's a really good guy and definitely knows what he's doing! However I wanted to clear up a few things. We don't offer a cylinder #8 warranty because we "blow up cars". We offer this warranty because we have the highest level of confidence in our tunes and want our customers to have a little piece of mind that we have their back no matter what happens. This is the AmericanMuscle/Bama way. We'll always bend over backwards to make sure all of our customers are taken care of.

We write our tunes to deliver the most possible power safely. Majority of our tunes are spot on the first time we send them out and don't require datalogging. However for the very small percentage that need some corrections, we encourage Datalogging. Even if you don't have a problem but would like us to check out your logs, that's not a problem at all! Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. They're consistently writing tunes, out at the Dyno and standing by to assist all of you guys!

I hope this helps clear things up a bit. Please let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance!

-Dan

So then the answer is no I haven't tried everyone's tune so no I can't say they're the best. Ever tried a VMP tune? I bet the answer is no. And guess what? I did datalog my car and sent the files to Justin @ VMP and no revisions were needed.
