I just took the spring out of my 2011 5.0. I like being able to feel the clutch now, and also not worrying about the pedal sticking down.

Has anyone done the 2011 GT500 clutch pedal assembly as suggested by Lethal at the end of their video? Wondering if that would solve the issue AND get rid of the slack at the top of the pedal travel? Just got a new 2014 GT and noticed this today; not spending too much time at high rpm yet given 580 miles on the odo, but I'm certain I'll be spending more time up high after that 1000 mile mark...

You don't need the GT500 pedal assembly just remove the helper spring as it accomplishes the same thing. I did this months ago and don't even notice any slack.

There are some people who have bad knees or ankles that cannot remove the spring due to extra effort needed to press the pedal down.

There is very little difference in pedal pressure, in fact after awhile it's not even noticeable.

Try driving an old muscle car with it's mechanical setup.
If you have issues using any hydraulic clutch then I'm sorry, you should go back to an automatic.

I miss my cabled, long throw clutch!!! Talk about wearing on your calves and quads lol..... I prefer it over hydraulic but it is what it is

I drove my Brothers `70 Six Pack GTX and afterwards got in my Old Firebird LS1 w/T56 and almost put my foot through the floor on the bird Lol.
Sitting at a light with your foot on the clutch and watching your leg quiver is definitely an experience.
