Talking New wheels. OMG they're wide!

Had to have these, of all the aftermarket stuff I've looked at these from Ford Racing did it for me and the wife the best. Just got them in and unboxed them. Eegaads, they're wide. They better fit fer crying out loud! Any good recommendations for decent tires bearing in mind I'm only driving this car in good reasonably warm to hot and dry only weather for mostly spirited driving (drifting when I can get away with it)? Thanks.

These are the Ford Racing Boss Laguna Seca wheels in 19x9" and 19x10".

Yeah they're awesome looking on a showroomed 2013 Boss LS I saw. Ford Racing has a sale on them now with free TMPS sensors and activator tool so I jumped on them. For the most part, pictures online of these tires do NOTHING for them compared to in person. My pics give a much better accounting if I do say so myself!

I would not buy the BF Goodrich G-force. These things howl. I hear good things about the continental tires.

Thanks for that tip. I've been leary of any BFGs because I know after a short useful life they simply get to a layer of rubber that won't stick to anything even though there's plenty tread left. And yes they get noisy! But, they do wear evenly. I'm actually looking at the Continental Extreme Contact DWs right now. Can't find anywhere that sells Nitto locally and they were also at the top of my list along with Mickey Thompsons.

Nice choice. I put my winter tires on a set of those rims, 19x9's all the way
around. I liked them so much, that I ordered a pair of the 19x10's with
Continental Extreme Contact DW's in 285/35/19 for the rear, and I will swap
the stock Pirelli P-Zero's onto the 19x9's once warmer weather gets here,
and move the winter tires to the stock rims. Once the Pirelli's wear out,
I'll get a matching set of tires.

This what the car looks like with the 19x9's on it:

And these are the 19x10's with the Conti's on them, waiting for some warmer weather!

This is side by side with the stock 255's:

Wow, that looks great! Did you have to lower the suspension or anything? Doesn't really look like it needs it if you havent. I'm leaning hard towards Conti's myself. Have a few quotes etc. Can TireBarn be trusted not to gouge up my wheels if I have them handle the installation?

What size SS's are you running? Though they were the ultimate street tire, what don't you like about the SS's?
