Default New wheels new look!

Got the tires and wheels installed today. What a difference in driving feel the extra width makes! Very muscular. In this cold Indiana weather of 35degrees F the tires arent sticking to the ground too well but that's to be expected. Normally the car would still be in the garage for another two or three weeks until it warms up. Anyhow for those who were watching my wide wheel thread and anyone else, heres some pics I just took. Enjoy!

Looks good! Do you plan on lowering it?

Oh yes, she's gonna need to be lowered a good inch at least now. That gap between the wheels and the fenders just got bigger. I'll be looking into the best bang for the buck suspension upgrades for sure. The Roush axle back or the Ford Racing Sport axle back and the FRPP Pro Cal tuner are next up though! Even without the lowering kit the car handles better on the turns and body roll has been cut way down. Otherwise with the suspension way up there like it is now the car sorta floats along like a Cadillac. She really looks better than I'd hoped for at this point. In person it looks pretty much factory cool.

Those are Ford Racing Boss 302LS (Laguna Seca) rims, 19x9 front and 19x10 rear with Mickey Thompson 255/40-19s and 285/35-19s. My original rims were the standard 18x8s as seen below:

EDIT: Got the rims at Ford Racing Parts Direct

Just got the front end alignment done. The mechanic said my wheels were inverted in like a snow plow. In 45 miles I was already showing the very slight but sure beginnings of inner treadwear! Always, always get the alignment done or do it yourself if you know how.
