My Dyno Run - 2013 Mustang GT (tuned)
So at the ASME show in Wilkes-Barre, PA on 4/21/13 had the car dyno'd
I turned in a disappointing 370 1st run 378 2nd run. Then after watching the video I realized the run was in 5th gear.
Was the correct gear for the run?
Because with my mods (see signature) I should have been closer to 400 I thought.

What's dissapointing? My 07 with same mods threw down 275/293.
Seems kinda low for your year. I watched a '13 5.0 put down 410 with tune/intake/catless x-pipe/gt500 exhaust. Same dyno that gave me my numbers, I was two cars after him.
edit: these numbers were at 4500ft altitude too, if that means anything. But those with more knowledge tell me to not focus on comparing to other cars...go off track results, dynos can vary between cars. Hope that helps!

Well based on mods and many videos viewed I should have been between 390 and 398 by my estimation. 378 is light IMHO. I almost felt ripped til I learned 4th was the proper gear, not 5th like he used.

Every dyno is different, dude. Every time I get a new car that I am modding I always do a baseline dyno just to see how much power it puts down stock. I use the same dyno to check the effects of mods.
Don't worry about the number. You could go to a dyno down street and post higher or lower. Focus on the change in that number the next time you dyno

Fifth is the right gear in the MT. Unless you had a base line done on the same dyne you have no idea what you gained with those mods. Take it to the track and see what your trap speed is and you will know the true power.

Only mods I see is exhaust. Is it offroad or catless xpipe. Also canned tune. Willing to bet the numbers are spot on. They really dont look bad I understand why your dissapointed but a 2013 puts down 350-370 stock normally and your at 378. on that dyno yours was prolly a 350ish car stock. so prolly 20-30 hp for just an exhaust and tune. actually seems decent. As stated all dyno's will read a little different, go to a dynojet if ya want an over 400#
