Default 2013 Shelby GT500 mufflers

Does anybody know hot to install 2013 GT500 mufflers on 2011-2012 GT? The 2013 Gt500 valance only fits 2013 GT.

You will have to fabricate your 2012 valance, but then again I dont know if that muffler uses the same hanger points....

The hanger points on the mufflers look exactly the same as the 2012 single tip model:

Dang... these are some pricey mufflers... Looks like you should be able to trim the rear valence to accommodate the larger tailpipes... I would recommend contacting LateModelRestoration since they sell them and they tend to be very helpful...

They only sell the valance for the 2013-2014 shelby and it only fits the 2013-2014 GT not the 2011-2012 GT.

Our rear valance is just plastic... should be able to trim it to fit... No need to buy another one.

I can try to trim it possibly with a dremel but I don't think is going to look professional.

This is what I'd try... But think it through on how... Worst case is that you can buy a new rear valance here or here. I would create a template that you could use on each side, flipping it as if in a mirror. Maybe use something durable as the template and I think it will look good.

1st find out if the hangers are an exact match, if so if you take your time and do a professional job on the valance...They do sound awesome!

For a completely bolt on application you have to buy the tail lights, rear bumper cover, and rear valance to switch it out. Everything else bolts on, just gotta match the paint color.

What about these from Magnaflow? They have the look and are designed for the 11-12 GT...
