I use one on the passenger side only. Yes, these start to drink oil at high-rpms.

Whats the real benefit of these? Isnt the engine doing what it was designed to do from the factory.. oil or not? Just wondering.. as I've gone back and forth with deciding to buy one for the last year. Just cant seem to justify it.

Don't quote me on this, but I think it will work on the Boss intake manifold. You will have to twist up the hosing and cans to make hem work, but the guy who sold me my JLT cans told me the hosing should not be bent too much. Doing that will damage the hosing.

It prevents the collected oil particles from being thrown back into the fresh air intake.

For the most part, the amount of oil being thrown back in with the fresh fuel-air charge is negligible as far as affecting engine power. But at a certain point, especially at high RPMs and/or forced induction, higher amounts of oil will affect power, reduce your fuel octane level to cause possible pinging, etc.

Also, in the long run, enough oil being burnt in the combustion chamber adds to carbon build-up on the heads and valve surfaces.
