How to get to 500 hp at the crank
When purchasing my mustang, I was initially looking to get an 07-09 gt500. As I am sure all of you know, that car gets 500 hp at the crank. I was unable to find this car at a reasonable price in my area. No one would budge under mid 30s. I would like to get to the stock power level of the gt500 in my 2011 mustang gt. My bumper to bumper warranty is up in about 8000 miles and I am thinking to start modding. What is the best way to 500 hp at the crank in a 2011 gt? I am thinking suspension mods might be in order as well.

(I could be wrong) but unless you add a supercharger or turbo(s) it won't happen.
Even if you did exhaust work, added a custom tune, CAI...you would still be coming up a bit short of your goal....maybe around 460hp (wild guess)

That's what I was afraid of hearing. I would prefer to start with an engine factory built for boost. I guess I should start saving now.

500HP at the crank is easy but very expensive. FRPP has an Aluminator block part # M-6007-A50XS which makes over 500HP BHP, if you mimic that you'll make the same power but it would be far cheaper to SC the car.

^This, and even that 460 HP (assumed RWHP) might be a stretch with all the bolt-ons and even some internal work.

500hp
If I was you I would consider waiting till the new Mustang's come out. I have read that the GT could hit 500hp.
Then you will be where you want. I have a 13 GT and have considered a Roush SC installed by Roush. 575 hp is what I am told. Or I could wait and get a new style stang with 500 hp , maybe a tad more, NA.
