I have been looking to see what the Max HP a 13-14 GT drivetrain can handle.
I am going to buy a VMP 2.3L Stage 3 Kit for my 14 GT/CS and dont wanna blow something up. Clutch, trans, Rear, Motor....
I would like 600-650 RWHP

I have the 6 Speed manual with 3.73 gearing
Thanks for any help.

600rwhp is about the safe limit for the stock block on 93 pump gas, The stock transmission can handle 600hp, The stock clutch can handle it depending om hard you beat on it, if you track your car, you'll want to up-grade it.

The rear can handle a lot of abuse, but like everything else, some people can break it with 400hp, others have no issue with 700+. The carrier gears are the weak link, mine handled 200 hard drag launches before they finally stripped.

You're looking at the wrong kit for a stock bottom GT. I would go with a Roush kit and start off with a Roush tune.

I think that kit will work out fine. Just keep boost pressure below 10 psi for your stock block. I'd get the 85mm pulley and definitely nothing smaller than the 82mm. This kit and the Roush kit are basically the same except you get more options with VMP kit, (injector size, TB, Heat exchanger, and pulley size, ported elbow). They are both 2.3L so it's basically comes down to the options you want. If you are worried about your warranty, go with the Roush kit with the Roush tune. As far as your drivetrain, anytime you add 200+ RWHP to your car, expect the life of drivetrain to decrease rapidly. That also depends how you drive the car and how well you can drive. Just don't expect them to last as long as a car with N/A power levels. Plain on upgrading your stock clutch in the near future and you won't be all heart broken when it eventually goes out on you. Good luck with your build and post results.

Thanks for Answering,
I am going with the 82mm Pulley. And the upgrades are exactly why I am going with this kit. the 72lbs injectors are an $800 upgrade and the Heat Exchanger is much better. The dyno sheet is posted for the stage 3 kit with the 82mm pulley & 72lbs injectors, basically the way the kit comes with 645 rwhp & 539 torque, I believe its a Boss 302 though, so 620+/- is good enough for me right now. The pulleys are 100 bucks each so upgrading isn't really that expensive or difficult.

Now the warranty from Ford, I believe if you go over 525rwhp they won't honor the warranty. So whats the point. Spending 6-7 grand for 100rwhp?!?!?

I have the FRPP Whipple Kit at 9 psi. It is awesome even in hot weather (With the top mounted intercooler) I love the instant power and how loud it makes my car. I have a lot of cars on my kill list and still no ones yet to take down the coyote but it will happen one of these days.

I am a bit biased but they are all nice superchargers but I love Whipple from my own experience with my current car.

We run a standard eaton/harrop 1900sc but with the upgrade snout with a 61mm pulley making 600rwhp at 12 psi stock standard engine just thought I share (; and as you can see its hard for us to go a bigger s/c as it sits in the V but now we can fit a KB 2.6 OR 2.8L only has come too just lately !

Just to Update everyone, I went and purchased the VMP Stage 3 kit. The added alot to the kit for an awesome price.

http://vmptuning.com/50l-superchargers/stage350gen2/

ID1000 Injectors, Twin Jet 67mm Throttlebody, Boost-a-pump, Dual Fan Heat Exchanger and much more!!!
I also opted for a Snow Performance Stage 3 Methanol injection kit, Just for cooling.
VMP's customer service is awesome and they knocked about $500 off when I called.

The only issue I have is they are waiting on some of the parts as they have been selling a lot of these kits.
Once I have it installed i'll upload a video and some pics.

is it recommended to upgrade to a one pice Driveshaft with this much power? Ive heard awful things about the older mustangs twisting the driveshaft and launching the car in the air!

If you are running sticky tires then yes. A one piece will be much stronger. With street tires no your lack of traction will be you weak link.
