Default 2011 5.0 no cats xpipe w/ gt500 mufflers

Title says it all, still have the resonators installed. A little louder due to garage open behind me with the echo. So it not nearly as loud. No drone at any rpm.

This is the on3 performance o/r xpipe and gt500 mufflers

1st Rev to about 3700
2nd a nice even pull to redline
3rd quick little revs almost 4k

Overall wow really sounds awesome under load.. Gives a nice gurgle sound. Took it out for a spin and got three compliments before I even got home 3 mile cruise haha

Loving this combo.

I have the same setup, except my O/R X is a JBA. I love the sound too. I went from stock to FM Outlaws, but the drone was horrible. Tried the GT500 mufflers next and liked them, but did not love them. They were a little too quiet. Added the X and bamo! That's what I was looking for.

txcharlie...I'm in the same boat as you. I immediately bought my FM Outlaws, love the sound but the drone was/is horrible. I've gotten pretty used to them, but I was more worried about my young boys (doesn't seem to bother them though). Seriously thinking about getting GT500 AB's, but don't want to lose the mean sound I currently have at idle and cruising. This setup sounds pretty great though.

Hey i was planning on doing a similar set up, so there's no drone at highway cruising speed? How much louder did it actually get, because from the video it seemed pretty loud.(i know you filmed it near an enclosed area but it still sounded pretty loud.)

I have no drone at all. As far as how loud...people will look your way when you fire it up. It just has the perfect sound for me.

How bad/strong is the exhaust smell with no cats?

I guess it makes the exhaust more toxic.. wonder if its worthwhile. I have been considering it for a while but i dont want to inhale more toxic fumes than necessary

Andy... I don't think the fumes will get into the Cabin space. I run with MAgnaflows O/R's X and complete 3" exhaust with Magnaflows...4inch outlets. And honestly...I don't smell fumes....Unless I'm right behind the car listening to the exhaust with the admirers.

;-)
