Default I've had my GT a little over a week now

And I guess I'm being a little paranoid of the coyote tick. Every time I stop somewhere or crank up in the garage I strain to see if I can hear something from the engine bay or underneath the car. Other than my own paranoia, I'm loving the ride and hopefully I can just get past this.

Normal...switch the oil to a 10w-30 and it should pipe down.

Mine doesn't make any ticking noises but it only has about 250 miles on it. I do have a noise that sounds like a pulley sqeaking though. I hope it's nothing serious.

Mine doesn't tick or anything weird. Though after I drive it hard it has a yummy smell that makes me think I hurt something. Guess its normal since I'm up to like 4200 miles and still going strong.

Ok, I've mellowed out on it the last few days, calmed down, and am just enjoying the ride.

This engine sounds like a sewing machine. Don't fret.. enjoy the car. If it feels fine.. then it is.
