new coyote need x pipe off road opinions
I've searched and i'v read all kinds of exhaust posts, but all about sound and axle backs. My 5.0 is not in a mustang so after the x pipe or h pipe I'm custom with side exit exhaust. I'm looking more for fit and performance. I'm wondering should I go with cat delete pipes like below then I have more options for x-pipes or should I just go with a complete off road x pipe. Is the magnaflow true x really worth twice as much as other brands?

I went with a set of jegs cat deletes for now and a used stock h pipe. I wasn't sure if the stock stuff would clear my crossmember. I had to notch cross member I wasn't happy how it looked so i bent up a new tube one. now i can run any one made for a 2011 -2013. thanks for the suggestions.

I added the BBK cat deletes...took about 4 hours by myself. It's a much cheaper route to go as opposed to the Magnaflow system. The only issue I had was that it leaked a little...which i solved with a new clamp.

not all mustang but almost all ford
Still need to get a stater, alt, power steering pump, all the ac components, like condenser, compressor etc. Need pressure plate bolts and bolts for starter and bellhousing.

If you don't mind, keep us up to date with the build. It sounds bad ***. I just sold a 78 short bed 4x2 to a friend at work. I had a 351w, Holley 4 barrel, single plain intake, long tubes, with a C6 put in it. Since then, he has added trick flow heads, cams, a stall, 390 gears and soon to be a 300 shot added to it. He also is in the process of doing the crown vic front end conversion. It will be a nasty little truck when he gets it done. Makes me wish I had kept it and done the same build. Anyway a coyote swap is even better. I tried to talk him into going that route but he wants to keep it old school.
Like I said. Keep us up to date. Would love to see some post build videos.
