Will switching mid pipes ruin my ghost tune?
I have a 2012 GT with a ghost tune on it that currently has a JBA x-pipe with high flow catalytic converters. I've seen people talking on here about how cats can muffle the idle of a ghost tune, so I was wondering if switching out my current x-pipe to one without cats would actually ruin my ghost tune or make my computer start throwing codes.

i think the ghost cam tune will actually ruin your cats eventually, from what ive read and been told by tuners including americanmuscle/bama
Id take the ghost cam tune off while you have cats, and get a retune for the offroad pipe and get a ghost cam at that time when you get the offroad pipe.

You will need a retune going to a full off road setup anyways to benefit from more free flowing setup. And yes running a cam tune with cats will eventually ruin them as they are forced to over work.
As for less muffled cam tune check out my bama cam tune on YouTube channel; SVTCobra34

Like the others have said, the ghost cam tune should not be used if you are running cats. If you were to go without cats and then use the cam tune, all the tune needs is the rear O2 sensors turned off. That is only difference between an off road tune and the normal tunes.
