Ford Racing and Borla Axlebacks

Ford Racing and Borla Axlebacks
I've read a couple of times now that the Ford Racing axlebacks are made by Borla, and they do look extremely similar. I'm curious how they compare, for example, are the Borla Touring and Ford Touring mufflers the exact same? Tuned for slightly different sound? Does S-Type = Ford Sport mufflers? Seems to me the Ford mufflers are in the neighborhood of $75 cheaper than the Borla depending where you look. Just curious how they line up or compare in terms of quality/sound/fit if anybody knows.

I have the GT500 axle backs

They fit perfect the wont be as loud as the other ford racing but sound much better then the stock GT not a bad price either. I installed them in an hour. Depends what you are looking for

I have Borla Stingers in my 2004 Mustang GT and look and sound great, but they were a lot more expensive than the Roush Axle backs in my 2011 Mustang GT. I will go with Roush if you want to save money, but Borla offers different mufflers depending on your needs. If you want options go with Borla but if you want a great sounding system at a great price then get the Roush Axle backs. From my personal experience the Roush Exhaust sounds great, its quite at cruising speeds, but it opens up if you step it. The best part about both brands is that your car will not give you headaches because it has no drone whatsover.
here is some vids of my system install.
