Default made an oil separator

I wanted to get one because i hear they have alot of blow by. I felt $110 is ridiculously overpriced for a piece of hose and a tin can so i made this got about $20 invested

I can't fault the OP for the hot rodding spirit. That's what created this industry!

But catch cans aren't just tin cans. Some work (much) better than others.

Been there, done that. JLT cans look a lot better than they work. UPR cans rule!

Looks like you also got a 40 micron filter as well...
How is the flow verses no catch can?
Any restriction in flow?
What flow is that 'filter' rated for at
atmospheric pressures?
It was designed for use on compressed
air pressures of the 40 to 150 psi range,
was it not?
I dont see it working as good as a specifically
designed for the situation
UPR catch can...
Nice try but no dice here...
