Just saying

I didn't say it necessarily sounds bad, it's just obnoxiously loud. And any time I've been alongside a Mustang (or any car) with muffler deletes, the toolbox driving it really loved to show off his muffler deletes. y'know, by slowing down and gunning it repeatedly.

Now that I understand! I don't do it for other people, I goose it for me. Having a bad day at work? The drive home always fixes it regardless if it's stop and go or wide open!

I migt avg 17-19mpg mixed, but I sure a sh** get 100 spg (smiles per gallon)

I had to shop for an exhaust based on price, and I narrowed it down to the Pypes muffler delete, and the FRPP GT500 exhaust. I am so glad I went with the FRPP exhaust! It sounds good when you get on it, and when you got on the interstate, it is easy to live with because it is quiet when cruising. The muffler delete is all good to listen to when it's not on my car! I don't mind hearing it when a fellow mustang club member speeds off, but if I had to live with it every day, I'd grow tired of it!

By the way, I got the GT500 axle backs, installation, and my resonators removed for $430 out the door!

It may be your car, but it's everyone else that has to deal with it. There are noise regulations for a reason.....not everyone, not even most people want to hear your exhaust from 5 city blocks away.

My Gibson axle back is loud enough. In fact its perfect! Its the only car I have ever owned that I have had people roll up next to me at lights and say "thats what a car should sound like".
