Default More power

Hey i got a 2011 Mustang GT and i want to add some power to it in the near future. I want to go up to around 550 horses to the wheels but i want to do it without a supercharger. Anyone have any advice? Thanks

There's too much to possibly list. Try doing a quick search and take a scroll through the forums. You'll find what you're looking for.

Are you saying you want to hit 550 RWHP without any power adder?

The '11 5.0 puts down roughly 350-360 RWHP stock. An aggressive custom tune will add about 40 RWHP to that. Cams and LT's may add another 30-40 RWHP (I'm very unclear on the 5.0's response to cams and LT's, though so it's a swag). I think hitting 500 RWHP without going FI is a stretch. Internal work might help you get there but then you're spending a lot of $$ and likely reducing driveability.

Wait 'til ford racing adds the 5.2L flat plane crank crate motor to their catalog....
or just do nitrous.

Seems like it would be much cheaper and easier to supercharge the car. Heck it would even be legal in California where as all the other stuff you would have to do to get to 500 WHP would likely not be.

Supercharger would be the way to go for what you want.

CAIs add nothing. The alleged gains are actually from the tune, which would help. As far as adding horsepower, this is a heavily discussed topic so you'll find hundreds of threads if you search.

You'd have to build EVERYTHING in the engine and spin it to the moon to get anywhere close to that naturally aspirated.

A base blower kit would hit that out of the box.
