Default Install pony projection light on my GT 2013

Remove the door panel, you can easily find this instruction from youtube,

then need to drill a hole underneath the door metal frame, B position as shown in the picture below:

The picture of position B shooting from underneath:

Connect the wire to position A as shown in the picture:

Done! The part takes me ~$20 from Amazon. The dealer asked for >$300 for labor only, of course I don't accept

after drilling a hole like that you really need to seal up the exposed metal edges. best with both a layer of etching primer (let dry fully) and a couple layers of paint (let dry completely.) Else the doors are going to immediately start rusting there.

This is exactly what I was thinking as I was reading the instructions. Good advice.

To the OP - that looks really nice & the color is great. I have the stock puddle lamp pony's and now I wish they came with more color than just white.

the funny thing is if you read the instructions on the site the OP linked, you're supposed to drill the hole in the plastic door trim panel. not the ****in' sheetmetal.

Thank you so much, this is the step I missed. Does the glazing & Spot Putty works?

Yes, I tried to find a place from the plastic trim panel and found it is very hard to access and finally gave up.
