Default no crank / no start

Hi all,
I do have a problem with my 2012 Mustang 5.0.
I own the car since one year (first owner)and drove it 12000km so far. Since 4 months I do have issues during starting. Every few weeks I am facing a no crank - no start situation - light, radio and display turn but if I try to start there is no crank just clicking. After 4 trials I normally can start the engine....afterwards I do not have issues for a couple of weeks. The issue is coming and going without any pattern. The battery has already been exchanged. My Ford dealer is pretty clueless since the issue is not present if the car is inspected.- I only have video.
Does anybody have experience with the same issue or has some ideas?

Welcome to the forum! I'm just guessing here but it could be electrical gremlins, a bad connection, faulty ignition assembly, or something else entirely.

I'm sure others here will provide something more substantial.

Does the check engine light come on and stay on, or any of the warning lights? Someone at that dealership must have an OBD scanner to see if you're throwing codes.

when you hear the clicking, do the car's lights dim?

codes have already been checked - nothing. There is no special warning light appearing just the ones which appear during system check.the problem is I still do have warranty but my dealer does not want to exchange parts just for fun.

when I hear the clicks nothing dims.....there is just no crank and in parallel display does turn off and has no reading.

maybe here some more details:
1. put in key
2. push breakes
3. perform system check - everything as usual
4. turn key to last position - no crank no start ....even if I stay on this position I only hear clicking.
I repeat this for a few times....suddenly after holding key at last position for a while there is a crank and start.
next time car would start as usual. always if I can get a crank it would start.

Starter or starter solenoid. I've had issues with the solenoids that slowly started the failure process.

sounds like starter contacts. The clicking usually indicates the starter is getting power.
I don't think these are rebuildable starters but if your under warranty then it should be no sweat!

Is your car auto or stick? If its stick check the plug on the clutch position sensor, it could be a little loose.
