Naturally Aspirated Experience
Currently working on a 2012 GT N/A build and was looking at adding after market headers and/or the boss 302 intake manifold. I am looking for comments from individuals that have made the intake manifold swap on the GT and there experience after the modification. Additionally, for headers was looking for some personal experience on short and long headers in a N/A build. Thanks for the help and enjoy the beautiful weather with a ride in a mustang.

Welcome to the forum.
Lots of threads already on the Boss intake manifold and headers. I'm not sure what to say that hasn't already been said a bunch. Maybe you should do some reading and then ask any specific questions from there.

Coming from a guy who owns a true Boss and of course has the Boss manifold I will say it's really up to you on what you're looking for. I feel like the Boss manifold is good for high revving and power up top and you might sacrifice low end torque. For an N/A build you might look at the Cobra Jet manifold instead. I know of a few guys who added the Boss manifold ran a few times at the track and went back to stock because they were running slower. Some of it comes from the tune and some just the way you drive. Long tube headers are always the way to go.

intake manifold
intake manifold really depends on how high you want to rev the engine. If you have an automatic you need a circle d torque converter to really make the whole system shine. when you add the price of the converter, headers, intake manifold and the install hardware/shop labor, you are getting closer to the cost of a super charger.
I myself have an automatic and decided against the converter because my wife also uses the car quite a bit. Ill eventually go the roush charger route.
