Tire recommendations
Hey guys so ive recently burned up my first set of pzeros. Any recommendations for a different tire? I dont track, and im from sunny Los Angeles so there is no need for an all season tire. Should i just get a new pair of pzeros or should I try something else?

The Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar on my '14 BBP is cheaper and WAY better than the PZeros on my former '12 BBP. Ride, turn in response, grip levels, rain and colder weather performance, all better.
Michelin Pilot Supersports are really good but spendy. That went on the '12 after the Pzeros erased themselves in about a year.
Hankook Ventus V1 Evos are a good low-buck alternative but, don't expect them to last long. They are a bit soft-carcassed for a car of this weight and power.

I just picked up a set of '10 GT500 wheels for my '14 GT. Brandy new, staggered Eagle F1's were mounted. So far, I'm pretty pleased w/their performance wet & dry. The rear tires are lots wider than the fronts so I don't notice the back end going out as widely as they did before w/the Pirelli OEM's.
That said, I also don't expect more than 15k outta these suckers. As I understand it, there are some F1's w/much better wear ratings than the ones I have.
If I had my druthers, I'd probably go Michelins as they are my favorite tire for car or bike but they are expensive. I had Nitto 555's on my Bullitt and really liked them too. Good bang for the buck tire.
I use the ratings on Tirerack.com to help make some of these of these decisions & then search the local market to see what's available.
