Default 69/70 Coupe - Fastback & Coupe differences

Thinking about starting on my 70 Fastback and bringing her back from the dead.
See is a shell so I need pretty much everything.
I found a 69 Coupe real cheap (w/o motor or trans) & wonder what Coupe parts will fit the Fastback.
I assume all interior except the stuff from back seat on back is the same?
Are the doors & door glass the same?
How about the front fenders & clip. (I know the 69 is a litle different fom the 70).
Bumpers the same?
The Coupe is $1000 (maybe a little less) so if I can use it's parts I'll get it.

interior: front seats are different, rear seat pattern is different between 69-70, rear qtr trim between coupe / fb is different, sail panels dont exist on coupes, door glass is different, quarter window glass is different, rear window is different, package tray is different, fenders are different between 69-70, fender extneions are different, grille is different between 69-70, bumpers should be the same, though the mounts will be different.

Uhhmm... I'd pass.

GEEZ WAFFLES get your facts straight damng it. LMAO.

Good job WAFFLES you know your stangs.
I have owned both 1969 and 1970 coupes,They look the same but are quite different.
As Waffles said not a good idea.

OK thanks guys. I'll just keep looking for a cheap 70 Coupe to rob parts off of. I didn't realize the 69 & 70 were so different.
Unfortunately my 70 fastback is a pure shell so I need almost everything, even the dash. I have a steering column, drivers seat & back seat frame & that is all in the interior. It doesn't even have pedals.

The suspension and some parts are the same not a whole lot.And don't forget the 69 has the glued in door glass but 70 is bolted in.I do like the 69 front end over the 70 and the 69 tail lights over the 70.

Windows are the same but ther are different lol. They are the same shape but the 69 windows glue into the track and the 70's are bolted in ..The 70 windows are more desireable due to that fact

Don't forget the door posts.
'70 has an air vent at the bottom of the door post, '69 does not.

Coupe and convertable on '69 and '70 has a slit for the 1/4 window to slide down, fastback does not.

where are you located? this guy has been plugging this one on craigslist for a couple monthes now, I think he was asking $1500 cash, I'd bet $400 you could walk away from it for less than 1g.
