I decided that my car was in desperate need of a paint job. Someone scraped my bumper last 4th of July and I was waiting to see what I wanted to get done. I collected the estimate money from the insurance and took my time deciding what I was going to do....have just the bumper replaced and painted to match the car....or look into getting the entire car painted. After almost a year of looking for a painter, I decided to get the entire car done. So I put the Insurance $$$ towards the overall paint job. PRO50SC had traded his old stock hood for a cobra R hood that he gave me. Then I obtained a truck lid from a friend that didn't need it, so I was able to get rid of the luggage rack that was on the back of the car. Here is the original issues w/ the car. Faded paint, dented l/r fender, miss matched paint and various other things.















Next I got PRO50SC to lower the front end of my car, and now the stance was looking just right. Here he is doing the work...check out the pics!

First I went to the painter 5/10 and looked at paint chips and picked out a new color. I was sticking w/ a shade of red because I wasn't having the jams done. So I picked inferno red - it's a Chrysler color. I tooled around with doing 2-tone, but after hearing the price of the 2-tone paint job, I decided that I couldn't afford it. So I stuck with one color. OK, I dropped my car off on 5/17 to get the paint job done. 3 weeks later (today) I picked up my car. WOW was all I could say, I truly wasn't prepared for what I was gonna see. The car was beautiful and get this... after discussing not doing the jams....they were done anyway!!! I was shocked. I'm more in love with my car now then I ever have been. I left the 10-holes on for painting, but once I got the car home, PRO50SC polished up my wheels and put them on for me and now the car is even more amazing.

The down side though is I have lost my spot in the garage for 2 months while the paint cures. It usually sits outside under cover but we can't cover it for that length of time. So now mine gets to sit outside under cover. [:@]
