So I finally have time to weld an H pipe on my dual exhaust this weekend.
Its typical that the pipes are wider apart toward the front and come together near the tranny yolk.

It it better for the H pipe to be closer to the motor but longer, or near the back of the tranny and shorter.

What do you have?

It's better for the H-pipe to be as close to the collectors as possible...but you have to be practical as well. Mine ended up under the tranny yoke

Just in front of the trans yoke.
