I see Cobra R going for cheaper than that all the time on eBay. The thing I don't understand is why you can always find atleast 1 R on ebay any time you search I found 2 last week. Seems like with only 300 made it would be a little harder to find them.
By the time I can buy one it will be on it's 20th owner

I want one sooo bad, myself!!!
Cobra R's really do not get enough credit... Those 5.4L engines put GM to shame!!!
Even on a rather mild compression ratio!!! The Cobra R's were underrated just like the 03 cobras were.
Official rating put them at 385 fwhp and 385 fwtq...
Dyno numbers put them at 376 rwhp and 386 rwtq!!!
That means, their REAL FLYWHEEL HP and TQ ratings were respectively (considering a 14% drivetrain loss):
437 hp and 449 lbs/ft tq

i think there were 550 :P 250 in 95 too correct? with the 5.8L rated 300hp lol but they really didn't look much different than the regular 95 cobras.. except for the smexy wheels.
nevermind saw the 2000, my mistake but yeah they did do 250 in 95 which seem to be rarerer, but they made 50 less and they are older.. so i guess thats why
