Did a search and oddly enough didn't locate anything about this.... Does anyone know of or have done a polish on the plastic headlight covers? Mine are getting pretty banged up by debris and such and don't have the nice crystal effect they had when new.

I'm sure you can polish them out to look like new again...

mothers has a plastic cleaner that works pretty good on head lights

It would have to be an abrasive polish as I can feel the nicks with my fingernails... I hope there's something available that will polish it out like new again.

Meguires Plast-x. Designed specifically for headlight covers and can be found at walmart, auto parts stores, ect.

yes, I have been using my headlight covers during highway driving so my plastic is like new, but the Meguire's Plast-X is what I would get.
I don't know if it will work on any big nicks. I believe it is effective on scratches.

Meguiar's Plast-X can be pretty strong...use it sparingly...actually the best way to keep your lenses looking good (right from the beginning) is to use a protectorant (Armor All, etc.) at least once a month...the UV inhibitors in them help minimize any yellowing.

for regular maintenance get a can of plexus. its in a blue and black spray can. keeps plastic clear and smooth.

Armor-All causes premature aging of plastic parts unless its constantly used
once its first applied. The company loves this aspect as they sell more
Armor-All that way.
